Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 5.79% or 58.00 points to trade at 1,059.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 2.88% or 890.00 points to end at 31,840.00 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was up 2.34% or 63.00 points to 2,750.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 2.62% or 60.00 points to trade at 2,230.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 1.85% or 1,950.00 points to end at 103,500.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 1.34% or 77.00 points to 5,672.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 288 to 169 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.62% or 60.00 to 2,230.00. Shares in Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.85% or 1,950.00 to 103,500.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.75% or 0.58 to $77.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.80% or 0.65 to hit $81.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 25.00 to trade at $1,994.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.36% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.57% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 101.43.
