Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Financials, Insurance and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which rose 3.87% or 142.00 points to trade at 3,807.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 2.67% or 52.00 points to end at 2,000.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) was up 2.16% or 22.00 points to 1,040.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 1.22% or 130.00 points to trade at 10,530.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 0.98% or 250.00 points to end at 25,190.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 0.75% or 350.00 points to 46,450.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 325 to 162 and 51 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.61% or 0.44 to $71.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $77.07 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 11.70 to trade at $2,071.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS fell 0.50% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.06.
