Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which rose 2.84% or 240 points to trade at 8699 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 2.65% or 520 points to end at 20110 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was up 2.55% or 67 points to 2692 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which fell 4.67% or 99 points to trade at 2020 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 2.60% or 70 points to end at 2620 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was down 1.62% or 290 points to 17600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 217 to 175 and 31 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.55% or 0.30 to $54.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.37% or 0.22 to hit $59.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 7.15 to trade at $1483.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.07% to 3.4841, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 3.9033.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.380.
