Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.53% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.99% or 95 points to trade at 2475 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 3.08% or 135 points to end at 4525 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.66% or 62 points to 2397 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 4.72% or 263 points to trade at 5308 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 1.93% or 430.0 points to end at 21810.0 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was down 1.45% or 160 points to 10890.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 to 152 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.60% or 0.81 to $51.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.65% or 0.93 to hit $57.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 8.90 to trade at $1305.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.4998, while EUR/ILS rose 0.14% to 4.1398.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.92.
