Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.50% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 2.73% or 160.00 points to trade at 6,030.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 2.15% or 1,510.00 points to end at 71,760.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 2.11% or 1,750.00 points to 84,550.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 2.40% or 2,240.00 points to trade at 91,210.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 2.16% or 63.00 points to end at 2,851.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was down 2.06% or 710.00 points to 33,700.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 207 and 66 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.34% or 1.06 to $78.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.31% or 1.10 to hit $82.78 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.14% or 26.60 to trade at $2,366.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.08% to 4.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 105.18.
