Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 5.88% or 1000 points to trade at 18010 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 2.90% or 290 points to end at 10290 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 1.65% or 690 points to 42600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 8.72% or 88 points to trade at 919 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 1.55% or 1600 points to end at 101900 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was down 1.37% or 86 points to 6170.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 202 to 156 and 47 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TA:LPSN) rose to all time highs; up 2.90% or 290 to 10290.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.19% or 0.11 to $57.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.45% or 0.30 to hit $66.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.45 to trade at $1316.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.6240, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.1228.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 96.078.
