Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 13.19% or 1840 points to trade at 15790 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 2.53% or 64 points to end at 2597 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 2.34% or 4640 points to 203140 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 2.83% or 69 points to trade at 2370 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 2.36% or 33 points to end at 1367 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was down 2.23% or 2290 points to 100410.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 282 to 210 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) rose to all time highs; rising 2.34% or 4640 to 203140.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.94% or 0.70 to $75.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.90% or 0.70 to hit $78.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.09% or 35.95 to trade at $1758.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.2278, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 3.7344.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 94.377.
