Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 6.40% or 1170 points to trade at 19460 at the close. Meanwhile, Matrix (TASE:MTRX) added 4.36% or 348 points to end at 8338 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 3.09% or 620 points to 20670 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 5.23% or 580 points to trade at 10500 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 2.51% or 81 points to end at 3151 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 2.02% or 138 points to 6682.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 153 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.67% or 0.67 to $40.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.55% or 0.66 to hit $43.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 12.75 to trade at $1907.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.27% to 3.3785, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.9730.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 93.362.
