Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.45% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 4.24% or 1150 points to trade at 28250 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) added 2.99% or 189 points to end at 6509 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) was up 2.27% or 1240 points to 55840 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which fell 2.17% or 47 points to trade at 2120 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 1.81% or 145 points to end at 7865 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) was down 1.30% or 330 points to 25000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 213 to 187 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.50% or 0.35 to $69.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.54% or 0.42 to hit $77.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.10 to trade at $1206.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.6132, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 4.2120.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.73.
