Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.44% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 3.54% or 112 points to trade at 3280 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) added 1.59% or 230 points to end at 14690 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 1.48% or 1300 points to 89410 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 2.01% or 66 points to trade at 3211 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.48% or 700 points to end at 46510 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.19% or 88 points to 7311.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 235 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.62% or 0.51 to $82.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.33% or 0.28 to hit $85.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 15.35 to trade at $1785.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.01% to 3.2125, while EUR/ILS rose 0.14% to 3.7424.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.590.
