Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.84% or 48 points to trade at 1299 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 3.32% or 13.6 points to end at 423.0 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was up 2.02% or 159 points to 8046 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 17.96% or 1196 points to trade at 5465 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) declined 0.96% or 0.4 points to end at 41.2 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 0.33% or 60 points to 17870.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 255 to 99 and 43 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) fell to 52-week lows; losing 17.96% or 1196 to 5465.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.04% or 0.70 to $66.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.64% or 0.50 to hit $77.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1232.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.7026, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 4.2141.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.38.
