Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 6.45% or 1190 points to trade at 19650 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 2.84% or 790 points to end at 28590 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was up 1.99% or 27 points to 1381 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 3.23% or 51 points to trade at 1527 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 2.87% or 120 points to end at 4060 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 2.30% or 8.1 points to 343.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 258 to 188 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.06% or 0.69 to $64.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.87% or 0.60 to hit $68.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.15 to trade at $1730.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.51% to 3.2898, while EUR/ILS fell 0.72% to 3.9160.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 91.877.
