Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.34% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TASE:LUMI), which rose 3.50% or 105.00 points to trade at 3,104.00 at the close. Meanwhile, First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) added 2.91% or 430.00 points to end at 15,190.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 2.53% or 810.00 points to 32,880.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which fell 3.09% or 179.00 points to trade at 5,608.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.88% or 4,700.00 points to end at 158,300.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 2.77% or 27.00 points to 963.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 298 to 168 and 74 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.53% or 810.00 to 32,880.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.23% or 0.19 to $82.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $86.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.20 to trade at $2,175.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.67% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.61% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.99.
