Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 6.14% or 483.00 points to trade at 8,353.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.35% or 76.00 points to end at 3,309.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was up 1.93% or 360.00 points to 18,980.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 3.11% or 115.00 points to trade at 3,583.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 2.10% or 26.00 points to end at 1,212.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 1.99% or 49.00 points to 2,415.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 299 to 200 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.59% or 1.53 to $94.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.78% or 1.80 to hit $99.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 11.95 to trade at $1,935.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.12% to 3.23, while EUR/ILS fell 0.19% to 3.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 99.75.
