Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 3.51% or 1,380.00 points to trade at 40,730.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 2.17% or 780.00 points to end at 36,690.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 1.72% or 2,410.00 points to 142,710.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 1.64% or 43.00 points to trade at 2,572.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 1.52% or 53.00 points to end at 3,440.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.49% or 70.00 points to 4,620.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 259 to 182 and 98 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.49% or 1.07 to $73.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.47% or 1.12 to hit $77.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 31.50 to trade at $2,516.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.12% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS fell 0.50% to 4.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 101.38.
