Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 4.28% or 57.00 points to trade at 1,390.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 3.96% or 2,920.00 points to end at 76,620.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 3.21% or 4,460.00 points to 143,460.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.61% or 136.00 points to trade at 5,075.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 2.59% or 320.00 points to end at 12,050.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 2.16% or 1,950.00 points to 88,250.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 to 195 and 109 ended unchanged.
Shares in Energix (TASE:ENRG) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.28% or 57.00 to 1,390.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.51% or 0.43 to $85.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.46% or 0.41 to hit $90.15 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 12.50 to trade at $2,360.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.84% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 4.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.72% at 105.82.
