Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which rose 3.64% or 219.00 points to trade at 6,230.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) added 3.47% or 1,600.00 points to end at 47,750.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was up 3.35% or 148.00 points to 4,570.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 2.65% or 1,960.00 points to trade at 72,000.00 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) declined 1.75% or 63.00 points to end at 3,527.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 1.25% or 1,890.00 points to 149,560.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 226 to 226 and 92 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.53% or 1.18 to $75.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.39% or 1.14 to hit $80.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1,992.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.61% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS rose 0.85% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 103.62.
