Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which rose 4.89% or 287.00 points to trade at 6,155.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 4.52% or 39.00 points to end at 902.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 3.45% or 37.00 points to 1,109.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 6.24% or 227.00 points to trade at 3,413.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.43% or 3,890.00 points to end at 156,040.00 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 1.04% or 800.00 points to 76,000.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 270 to 185 and 41 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.37% or 1.06 to $76.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.98% or 0.82 to hit $82.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $1,820.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.91% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS fell 0.84% to 3.79.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 105.63.
