Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 4.19% or 103 points to trade at 2562 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) added 1.42% or 116 points to end at 8277 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was up 0.97% or 200 points to 20860 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 4.15% or 570 points to trade at 13150 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) declined 3.01% or 28 points to end at 900 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was down 2.21% or 148 points to 6550.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 192 to 185 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.18% or 1.23 to $57.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.82% or 1.12 to hit $62.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 4.05 to trade at $1511.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.5269, while EUR/ILS rose 0.48% to 3.9013.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 98.165.
