Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 2.55% or 6120 points to trade at 246100 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 2.24% or 192 points to end at 8754 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was up 2.06% or 43 points to 2130 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 3.45% or 43 points to trade at 1204 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 2.99% or 79 points to end at 2560 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 2.91% or 39 points to 1300.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 275 to 212 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) rose to all time highs; rising 2.55% or 6120 to 246100.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.08% or 1.00 to $91.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.56% or 0.52 to hit $92.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 12.15 to trade at $1819.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.1939, while EUR/ILS fell 0.59% to 3.6488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.535.
