Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 2.32% or 900.00 points to trade at 39,660.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 2.09% or 27.00 points to end at 1,317.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 1.98% or 1,420.00 points to 72,970.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 3.48% or 1,000.00 points to trade at 27,720.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 3.22% or 150.00 points to end at 4,510.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 1.91% or 550.00 points to 28,280.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 220 to 200 and 119 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.19% or 0.13 to $69.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.28% or 0.21 to hit $73.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 6.05 to trade at $2,598.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.78, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.04% to 4.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.58.
