Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 2.70% or 31.00 points to trade at 1,181.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) added 2.28% or 203.00 points to end at 9,098.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.17% or 970.00 points to 45,660.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 2.27% or 24.00 points to trade at 1,034.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.87% or 103.00 points to end at 5,397.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 1.52% or 8.10 points to 524.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 220 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.99% or 1.74 to $89.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.69% or 1.53 to hit $92.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 10.55 to trade at $1,936.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.81, while EUR/ILS rose 0.25% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.33.
