Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.20% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF), which rose 6.56% or 2830.00 points to trade at 45970.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 4.07% or 2770 points to end at 70780 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was up 3.71% or 58 points to 1623 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 4.30% or 78.00 points to trade at 1737.00 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 2.98% or 440 points to end at 14340 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was down 2.17% or 147 points to 6612.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 216 to 165 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.22% or 0.69 to $57.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.21% or 0.75 to hit $62.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.69% or 25.60 to trade at $1485.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.45% to 3.4947, while EUR/ILS fell 0.94% to 3.8691.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 97.775.
