Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 3.27% or 400 points to trade at 12650 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) added 3.21% or 113 points to end at 3638 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 3.03% or 480 points to 16300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 9.57% or 751 points to trade at 7097 at the close. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) declined 5.31% or 760 points to end at 13560 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) was down 3.88% or 57 points to 1413.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 216 to 191 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.88% or 57 to 1413.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.44% or 0.18 to $41.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.85% or 0.37 to hit $43.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 8.70 to trade at $1953.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.14% to 3.4053, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.0106.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 93.343.
