Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 4.37% or 425.00 points to trade at 10,160.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 3.64% or 2,620.00 points to end at 74,620.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.13% or 1,010.00 points to 48,500.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 2.60% or 2,460.00 points to trade at 92,320.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 2.47% or 1,190.00 points to end at 47,000.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 2.15% or 3,300.00 points to 149,840.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 348 to 131 and 58 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 3.97% or 2.93 to $70.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 3.40% or 2.68 to hit $76.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 9.60 to trade at $2,040.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.98% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 1.25% to 4.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 101.87.
