Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TA:HARL), which rose 6.45% or 134 points to trade at 2210 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 3.85% or 800 points to end at 21560 and Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) was up 2.22% or 490.0 points to 22590.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 2.94% or 2020 points to trade at 66650 at the close. Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) declined 2.19% or 610 points to end at 27190 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 1.97% or 22 points to 1094.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 212 to 187 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.36% or 0.19 to $52.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.59% or 0.34 to hit $57.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.45 to trade at $1287.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.5288, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 4.1578.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 93.02.
