Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 4.50% or 3,870.00 points to trade at 89,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.88% or 67.00 points to end at 1,796.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 3.16% or 2,390.00 points to 78,080.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 2.26% or 34.00 points to trade at 1,472.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 2.19% or 33.00 points to end at 1,473.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 2.18% or 18.90 points to 850.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 271 to 184 and 83 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.19% or 33.00 to 1,473.00. Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; up 3.16% or 2,390.00 to 78,080.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.13% or 0.10 to $77.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $81.92 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.91% or 45.75 to trade at $2,347.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.09% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.20% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 104.86.
