Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.12% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 4.21% or 66 points to trade at 1633 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 3.44% or 1320 points to end at 39700 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was up 1.65% or 36 points to 2221 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which fell 2.68% or 1310 points to trade at 47550 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.20% or 9.0 points to end at 400.0 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 2.16% or 340 points to 15410.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 211 to 172 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.68% or 1310 to 47550. Shares in Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) rose to all time highs; rising 3.44% or 1320 to 39700. Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.20% or 9.0 to 400.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.21% or 0.14 to $66.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.81% or 0.62 to hit $76.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 8.10 to trade at $1309.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.6046, while EUR/ILS fell 0.79% to 4.2001.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.83% at 94.34.
