Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 2.71% or 2080 points to trade at 78880 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 2.59% or 290 points to end at 11480 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 2.32% or 159 points to 7000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 4.27% or 47 points to trade at 1053 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 3.48% or 55 points to end at 1527 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 3.28% or 79 points to 2328.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 220 to 189 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.80% or 0.34 to $42.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.84% or 0.38 to hit $45.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 1.00 to trade at $1979.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.31% to 3.3617, while EUR/ILS rose 0.16% to 4.0066.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 92.293.
