Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 1.69% or 39 points to trade at 2340 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TA:POLI) added 1.55% or 38 points to end at 2485 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 1.49% or 300 points to 20400 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TA:MLSR), which fell 1.53% or 250 points to trade at 16080 at the close. Strauss Group (TA:STRS) declined 1.41% or 120 points to end at 8410 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 1.23% or 830 points to 66670.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 168 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.86% or 0.44 to $51.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.60% or 0.36 to hit $60.51 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1246.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.44% to 3.7654, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 4.2725.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 97.183.
