Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 1.89% or 44 points to trade at 2376 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 1.69% or 128 points to end at 7686 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.59% or 1010 points to 64520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT), which fell 1.30% or 580 points to trade at 44170 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.29% or 17 points to end at 1304 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 1.11% or 170 points to 15130.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 209 to 177 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.26% or 0.18 to $68.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.45% or 0.36 to hit $79.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1224.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.13% to 3.6622, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 4.2001.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 95.75.
