Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 4.74% or 407 points to trade at 9001 at the close. Meanwhile, Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL) added 1.71% or 660 points to end at 39360 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TA:PHOE1) was up 1.24% or 24 points to 1967 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 1.48% or 100 points to trade at 6635 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.24% or 12 points to end at 994 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) was down 0.91% or 18 points to 1962.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 238 to 162 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.11% or 0.06 to $52.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.75% or 0.46 to hit $62.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.15 to trade at $1318.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.06% to 3.6414, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 4.1259.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 96.417.
