Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 3.51% or 1,440.00 points to trade at 42,440.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 1.92% or 260.00 points to end at 13,790.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 0.88% or 3.90 points to 444.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which fell 6.45% or 426.00 points to trade at 6,182.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 1.54% or 48.00 points to end at 3,073.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 1.40% or 11.00 points to 772.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 186 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.45% or 426.00 to 6,182.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.94% or 0.73 to $78.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.92% or 0.75 to hit $82.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 21.85 to trade at $2,356.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.51% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 104.50.
