Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI), which rose 1.46% or 57.00 points to trade at 3,963.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 1.33% or 380.00 points to end at 29,030.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.25% or 1,030.00 points to 83,130.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 6.05% or 1,790.00 points to trade at 27,800.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.48% or 4,230.00 points to end at 166,300.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) was down 1.87% or 21.00 points to 1,103.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 191 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.46% or 57.00 to 3,963.00. Shares in Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.33% or 380.00 to 29,030.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.33% or 0.23 to $69.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.40% or 0.29 to hit $73.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.10 to trade at $2,749.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 104.20.
