Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TASE:LUMI), which rose 1.45% or 37 points to trade at 2580 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) added 1.42% or 23 points to end at 1648 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 1.19% or 120 points to 10180 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 3.01% or 198 points to trade at 6381 at the close. Melisron (TASE:MLSR) declined 2.16% or 490 points to end at 22220 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was down 1.27% or 310 points to 24120.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 252 to 214 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.52% or 0.37 to $71.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.56% or 0.41 to hit $73.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 13.60 to trade at $1866.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.11% to 3.2472, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 3.9369.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 90.433.
