Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.00% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 12.88% or 753 points to trade at 6600 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 1.51% or 75 points to end at 5039 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.04% or 12 points to 1163 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 3.00% or 9.7 points to trade at 313.7 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.38% or 91 points to end at 6508 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was down 1.23% or 220 points to 17720.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 273 to 125 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.51% or 75 to 5039. Shares in Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.04% or 12 to 1163.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.63% or 0.35 to $56.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.54% or 0.36 to hit $66.14 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.40% or 18.55 to trade at $1340.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.6192, while EUR/ILS rose 0.28% to 4.1000.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 96.480.
