Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Utilities, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 gained 0.11%, while the SBF 120 index added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Kering SA (PA:PRTP), which rose 1.98% or 6.70 points to trade at 344.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Pernod Ricard SA (PA:PERP) added 1.21% or 1.45 points to end at 120.80 and Engie SA (PA:ENGIE) was up 1.19% or 0.17 points to 14.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airbus Group SE (PA:AIR), which fell 2.25% or 1.83 points to trade at 79.44 at the close. Credit Agricole SA (PA:CAGR) declined 1.16% or 0.180 points to end at 15.335 and ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) was down 1.10% or 0.250 points to 22.520.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Rexel (PA:RXL) which rose 2.00% to 14.28, Kering SA (PA:PRTP) which was up 1.98% to settle at 344.35 and Electricite de France SA (PA:EDF) which gained 1.62% to close at 10.64.
The worst performers were Eutelsat Communications (PA:ETL) which was down 2.62% to 23.94 in late trade, Airbus Group SE (PA:AIR) which lost 2.25% to settle at 79.44 and Sartorius Stedim Biotech (PA:STDM) which was down 1.64% to 57.67 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 324 to 284 and 78 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was up 2.38% to 11.85.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.81% or 10.29 to $1285.19 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.75% or 0.37 to hit $49.66 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.50% or 0.28 to trade at $55.90 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.14% to 1.1749, while EUR/GBP fell 0.46% to 0.8933.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.51.
