Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 3.63% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 2.78% or 125.0 points to trade at 4615.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.33% or 20.0 points to end at 1500.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.27% or 700.0 points to 55800.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which fell 7.51% or 510.0 points to trade at 6280.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 6.37% or 1000.0 points to end at 14700.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was down 6.30% or 1040.0 points to 15460.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 26 to 3 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) fell to all time lows; falling 6.37% or 1000.0 to 14700.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.30% or 0.35 to $118.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.27% or 9.00 to hit $3368.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 1.21% or 13.10 to trade at $1070.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.08% to 3073.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.08% to 806.16.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 99.67.
