Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.39% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 6.03% or 22.0 points to trade at 387.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.83% or 60.0 points to end at 7300.0 and Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) was up 0.50% or 10.0 points to 2010.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 10.00% or 78.0 points to trade at 702.0 at the close. Promigas (CN:PMG) declined 3.38% or 250.0 points to end at 7140.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was down 3.36% or 40.0 points to 1150.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Conconcret (CN:CIC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 10.00% or 78.0 to 702.0. Shares in Grupoaval (CN:GAA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.36% or 40.0 to 1150.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.22% or 1.36 to $109.92 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 3.77% or 84.50 to hit $2156.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1223.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.64% to 2890.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.14% to 769.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.29.
