Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.34% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 0.12% or 5.0 points to trade at 4315.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 1.37% or 100.0 points to end at 7400.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 2.14% or 460.0 points to 21940.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 3.12% or 290.0 points to trade at 9010.0 at the close. Promigas (CN:PMG) declined 3.03% or 200.0 points to end at 6400.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 2.86% or 115.0 points to 3900.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 5 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Promigas (CN:PMG) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.03% or 200.0 to 6400.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.25% or 1.40 to $113.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.41% or 8.50 to hit $2103.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.80% or 33.40 to trade at $1226.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.20% to 3089.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.53% to 818.26.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 94.68.
