Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.17% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 7.14% or 20.0 points to trade at 300.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.27% or 200.0 points to end at 9000.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.54% or 20.0 points to 3705.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 3.01% or 8.0 points to trade at 258.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.39% or 720.0 points to end at 29400.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 1.69% or 240.0 points to 13960.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 3 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etb (CN:ETB) fell to all time lows; falling 3.01% or 8.0 to 258.0. Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.69% or 240.0 to 13960.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.79% or 0.95 to $121.20 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 3.46% or 74.00 to hit $2211.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.60 to trade at $1234.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 3167.15, while BRL/COP rose 1.64% to 854.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.36.
