Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.84% or 260.0 points to trade at 14360.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 2.24% or 25.0 points to end at 1140.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.78% or 120.0 points to 15600.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 3.30% or 10.0 points to trade at 293.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 2.94% or 10.0 points to end at 330.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was down 2.53% or 780.0 points to 30100.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 10 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etb (CN:ETB) fell to all time lows; falling 3.30% or 10.0 to 293.0. Shares in Conconcret (CN:CIC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.94% or 10.0 to 330.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.25% or 0.30 to $122.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.25% or 72.00 to hit $2142.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1228.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.11% to 3092.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.12% to 829.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 95.68.
