Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 5.26% or 400.00 points to end at 8,000.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) was up 3.65% or 480.00 points to 13,620.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which fell 2.86% or 380.00 points to trade at 12,920.00 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) declined 1.87% or 380.00 points to end at 19,900.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was down 1.85% or 460.00 points to 24,340.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) rose to 5-year highs; rising 5.26% or 400.00 to 8,000.00.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 5.82% or 13.65 to $248.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 7.46% or 575.00 to hit $8,280.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 7.60 to trade at $2,371.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,048.15, while BRL/COP rose 0.50% to 746.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.81.
