Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 0.90% or 90.0 points to trade at 10040.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 0.39% or 60.0 points to end at 15400.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.36% or 5.0 points to 1375.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which fell 2.11% or 700.0 points to trade at 32500.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.98% or 680.0 points to end at 33620.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was down 1.37% or 560.0 points to 40400.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 9 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.10% or 1.48 to $136.38 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.40% or 47.00 to hit $2006.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 6.89 to trade at $1303.71 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.30% to 2891.88, while BRL/COP fell 0.11% to 924.13.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.68% at 92.24.
