Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 2.39% or 140.0 points to trade at 5990.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 1.87% or 440.0 points to end at 23940.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 1.83% or 580.0 points to 32300.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which fell 3.64% or 480.0 points to trade at 12700.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.87% or 90.0 points to end at 3050.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 1.50% or 900.0 points to 59000.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 11 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.64% or 480.0 to 12700.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.44% or 0.50 to $113.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.93% or 20.00 to hit $2125.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 7.80 to trade at $1227.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.96% to 3284.40, while BRL/COP rose 1.59% to 852.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 96.695.
