Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 0.50% or 80.0 points to trade at 16180.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 0.42% or 5.0 points to end at 1195.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.23% or 40.0 points to 17100.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 3.43% or 27.0 points to trade at 761.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.99% or 170.0 points to end at 8370.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was down 1.91% or 180.0 points to 9220.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 5 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Conconcret (CN:CIC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.43% or 27.0 to 761.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.28% or 0.31 to $111.72 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.22% or 5.50 to hit $2481.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.70 to trade at $1247.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.38% to 2882.55, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 742.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.54.
