Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 0.86% or 100.0 points to trade at 11720.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.38% or 5.0 points to end at 1335.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.11% or 20.0 points to 18920.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which fell 2.08% or 680.0 points to trade at 32000.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.19% or 400.0 points to end at 33080.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was down 0.98% or 10.0 points to 1010.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 5 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupoaval (CN:GAA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.38% or 5.0 to 1335.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.92% or 1.20 to $130.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.15% or 65.50 to hit $2014.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 11.93 to trade at $1286.83 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.57% to 2954.58, while BRL/COP fell 0.37% to 927.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.51.
