Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.44% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 6.67% or 5.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 1.20% or 120.00 points to end at 10,120.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was up 1.15% or 45.00 points to 3,960.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which fell 3.21% or 380.00 points to trade at 11,440.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) declined 2.11% or 360.00 points to end at 16,720.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) was down 0.95% or 4.00 points to 416.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.92% or 7.70 to $256.45 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.31% or 22.00 to hit $7,017.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 10.20 to trade at $2,680.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.04% to 4,183.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.15% to 769.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 101.39.
