Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.30% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 0.98% or 160.0 points to trade at 16460.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.94% or 90.0 points to end at 9700.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.90% or 15.0 points to 1680.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which fell 2.22% or 680.0 points to trade at 29900.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 2.04% or 420.0 points to end at 20160.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 1.81% or 50.0 points to 2710.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.98% or 160.0 to 16460.0. Shares in Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.90% or 15.0 to 1680.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.41% or 0.52 to $125.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.16% or 24.50 to hit $2093.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 5.97 to trade at $1271.73 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.63% to 3042.69, while BRL/COP rose 1.13% to 929.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.44.
