Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.28% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 0.96% or 25.0 points to trade at 2625.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) added 0.75% or 100.0 points to end at 13500.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.81% or 120.0 points to 14980.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 2.39% or 240.0 points to trade at 9800.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.96% or 11.0 points to end at 551.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was down 1.95% or 20.0 points to 1005.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etb (CN:ETB) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.96% or 11.0 to 551.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.14% or 3.00 to $137.23 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.93% or 58.00 to hit $1919.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.87 to trade at $1288.13 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.42% to 2966.32, while BRL/COP fell 0.61% to 927.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.30.
